How to make "Korean" kimchi at home

Expiry date: 18 months

1 package of kimchi salt sauce for 3 kg of ingredients (cabbage, carrots, radish, cucumber,...)

Step 1:

- Wash carrots, onions, green onions and chives, peel and drain, then slice into bite-sized pieces.
- Remove any leaves that are wilted or bruised on the cabbage's surface and wash the surface.
- Drain the pre-processed ingredients and be ready to mix with the seasoning package to make kimchi

Step 3:

- Cut the cabbage into quarters then rub salt into each leaf, from outside to inside, from top to bottom.
- Then put it in a bowl and pour water to cover the cabbage.
- Soak cabbage in salt water for 2-4 hours to soften and soften the leaves, then rinse 4-5 times with water to remove the salty taste.

Step 4:

- Put all the cabbage and other prepared ingredients into the bowl.
- Then add the complete kimchi salt seasoning package
- Use plastic gloves to mix the ingredients evenly to absorb the spices.

Marinate with spices

Put in a jar and preserve

Step 5:

- Put the marinated kimchi in a sealed jar and leave it at room temperature for 3-4 hours so that the kimchi can ferment until the sour taste is just right.
- Then store in the refrigerator.
- When you need to use it, just take a separate, bite-sized portion. Kimchi stored well can be used for 1 month
